Amar Plastic Industries began in Mumbai, India in 1979 through the efforts of our founder partner Shri. Narendra V. Khandhar. He began his independent
career with imports of 1st generation plastic Raw Material- Cellulose Acetate and later diversified into manufacturing Injection Molded Plastic products. His
entrepreneurial energy coupled with unique insight has been one of the many factors which have shaped the company's evolution and growth more than 45
years later…..Currently we import Commodity & Engineering Polymers in huge quantities & supply them to varied Industries in India.

We diversified in the field of manufacturing in 1979. We made humble manufacturers but since 1996 we have started manufacturing specialized, custom made products such as Caps & Closures, Inflight Catering Items, Containers etc. & are supplying it directly to various MNC’S & PSU’s, some of which also figure in the FORTUNE 500 list. Our manufacturing setup is located in the heart of Mumbai City, and is well equipped with Fully automatic computer-controlled machines, our deep knowledge & expertise of the raw materials, consistent supply, ability to execute high volume requirements & relentless service to customers, we are able to achieve many milestones mentioned below.
Cap Design for Pan India Market
We have been fortunate to be registered vendors of M/S Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. We were a part of the team who was responsible for supply of New Design Caps on a pan India basis to mark the beginning of the New Millennium in the year 2000. All the molds developed by the company in Korea were brought to our factory and all the necessary trials of the molds along with production trials of the caps produced from them & the necessary rectification if any were done on the basis of our reports. We have successfully competed & completed many tenders/ orders issued by them from time to time.
Polio Vaccine Droppers
We also take utmost pride in being Vendors to M/s Haffkine Bio Pharmacueticals Ltd. and supplying them huge quantities of Oral polio Vaccine Droppers for their "Eliminate Polio" program funded by the Government
of India & the UNICEF.
Air India suppliers
We would also like to highlight that we have successfully supplied full range of items required for Inflight Services to AIR INDIA LTD.
Tin Containers
We have been Instrumental in Conversion of Tin containers of CHINTHOL brand of Talcum Powder, Manufactured by Godrej Industries Ltd., to Plastic Containers with Flip top caps. We had Developed CNC Molds with utmost precision & finish for the same in 1997, when there were a handful of people who knew about this technology.
Bisleri Bottle Caps
We are vendors to M/s Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd. caps for their 20 ltr Jars. We are supplying them 10-12lakh caps per month to around 20 locations across India on a consistent, hassle-free basis.
Others
We also take to our credit supply of 13-15lakh caps per month singlehandedly to M/s Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd as well as large quantities of Dosage cups to M/s Procter & Gamble for their “Vicks Formula 44”
